I got the nickname ET because Andrew Ettingshausen was just too long a name to write on the official team sheet each week by the Cronulla Sharks team manager way back when i started playing first grade in 1983.

Besides my family, footy, fishing and television production have been the passions in my life. I was able to play Rugby League for the Cronulla Sharks from the age of 17 and went on to play 18 wonderful years for them and 328 first Grade games. I have great memories of the 30 State of Origins I was involved in for the NSW Blues with my greatest sporting dream coming true representing Australia 29 times.My career extended to the UK spending two Seasons playing for Leeds in Northern England. All up I played in some 452 first class games scoring 247 tries.
