Elysium Noosa Resort (open now)

Avani Mooloolaba Beach Hotel (opening April 2026)

Avani Mooloolaba Beach Hotel is the Sunshine Coast’s newest 5-star hotel, perfectly positioned in the heart of Mooloolaba and designed for standout business events. Spanning 12 levels, it features 180 stylish rooms and suites, ideal for conferences, incentives and executive retreats.

A dedicated events floor offers four flexible venues with capacity for up to 250 guests, complemented by state-of-the-art AV and sweeping views over the ocean. Whether you’re hosting a board meeting, conference session or gala dinner, expect seamless service and tailored catering to match.

Delegates can elevate their stay with three dining venues, including a signature rooftop restaurant and bar with panoramic coastline and hinterland views, plus onsite wellbeing facilities including AvaniSpa and AvaniFit.

Crowne Plaza Maroochydore (opening 2028)

IHG’s Crowne Plaza will anchor Maroochydore’s CBD, delivering 180 rooms and high-quality conference space for 200–250 delegates.

With a luxury rooftop bar and restaurant, this hotel will suit larger corporate conferences seeking a central location, strong brand presence and elevated networking spaces. 

Holiday Inn Suites Caloundra (opening 2028/29)

Located near the Caloundra Events Centre, the 5-star Holiday Inn Suites will be an all suite property of similar scale, ideal for longer stays and group-based events. Its proximity to existing venues strengthens Caloundra’s appeal for practical, well-connected business events.

Future Pipeline to 2032


Aria Hotel Mooloolaba is in planning, alongside a major convention centre proposed for Maroochydore CBD and a further nine hotel developments as the region builds toward the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games signalling strong long-term capacity growth for business events on the Sunshine Coast.
