The familiarisation program is designed to focus on a range of Aboriginal culture, heritage and outback adventure activities unique to the Red Centre, positioning Alice Springs as one of the most competitive, distinctive and meaningful business events destinations in Australia.
Attendee’s will have the opportunity to view Alice Springs’ key business events infrastructure as well as connect with local product and services representatives at the ‘Meet the Market’ networking event.
A business session will be held during Alice Stampede to highlight the depth of extraordinary local speakers, Alice Springs expertise and industry strengths which often provide appealing linkages to attract conferences to the region.
The Northern Territory Government has provided $9.33 million towards attracting more national and international business events through its Turbocharging Tourism investment.
Quotes from Department of Tourism, Sport and Culture Deputy CEO Andrew Hopper:
“We’re looking forward to again co-hosting this event with the Alice Springs Convention Centre and industry partners.
“We’re very confident that attendees at Alice Stampede 2019 will be inspired by our destination and subsequently motivated to stage their business events in Alice Springs.
“It’s not just the unique locations that set Alice Springs apart; it’s the experiences, the people, the hospitality, connection to a 65,000 year old living culture and the feeling that you’re part of something more.”
